Your business has a great story to tell. A story about the different ways you help people. A story about why you love what you do. A story about your expertise and the reason you are where you are. When crafted with a plan and shared with enthusiasm, that story will bring results. Increased brand awareness. Improved customer engagement. Informed and enriched employees.
I created HansenHouse Communication in 2010 to help businesses create and share their stories. I do that through public relations, internal communications, advertising, social media marketing, video and photo journalism - all "content marketing" opportunities. As a freelance writer and magazine editor some 30 years ago, I learned the power of stories. When a company can reach its audience with well-designed content - that's just marketing speak for "stories" - that audience is engaged to act. Much more than just written words, stories come to life with photos and videos, as well. I've worked on both sides of the video camera to produce video and TV programming. And I seldom travel far without a camera - for work or pleasure.
After more than 10 years as a journalist, I moved to the corporate world to manage advertising and PR plans, working with agency partners to facilitate story telling for a national brand. I learned the power of branding, and the commitment businesses must maintain to consistent brand standards for efficient and effective communication.
